KOA's connection to Scouting runs deep.

Kampgrounds of America's CEO, Jim Rogers, is one of 10 Eagle Scouts in his family. Jim considers himself a "lifelong Scout", and currently serves as Vice President of Finance for the Western Region of the Boy Scouts of America and is a recipient of the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Eagle Award.
"KOA and Scouting share many of the same values," Rogers said. "We're so proud to be able to offer a program that will provide Scouts more opportunities to experience the joys of time spent outdoors. Scouting is all about personal growth, and there are so many things Scouts can experience on a KOA campground that will enhance this growth."
