Subject: Achoicominga Chapter meeting

Our Chapter meeting was wonderful last night.  I apologize for the incorrect directions.

Has many of you found out, the best way to get there is off of Sherman Way,
not Vanowen.

We participated with Chauwalanne Chapter and they have a lot of adult
participation and youth too.

It was refreshing to see so many youth and adults at the OA meeting.  We
look forward to developing a joint relationship with them to keep the OA
alive and well.

Jon Orlick has agreed to be our new Chapter Advisor.  Jon and his youth
needs some adults to help carry on the OA traditions.  He needs three
advisors
(Vice Chief of Activities, Vice Chief of Indian Lore and Secretary)  We
will train, no experience needed.  Please contact Jon Orlick if you are
able to fill any of the positions.

We also need a place to store the OA Tepee trailer (30 feet long and 7 feet
wide).  We have tried to find a place for the last two months with no
success.  We will donate the trailer to another OA chapter if we can not
find a location to store the trailer.  This would mean our district would
not have a Tepee at camporee in the future or the ability to sleep in the
tepee at camporees.  If you have a charter organization with space for the
trailer, please let us know.

This is a new year, we have new officers, a new chapter advisor, a new
location and a new beginning.  The Order of Arrow is the best of the best
that Scouting has to offer.  Please join us at our next meeting on February
14th.

Troops let us know if you would like the OA to come out to your troop to do
elections.  The cut off is April 1st.
