Please submit this form by Saturday, February 20, 2010. Awards will be presented at the district awards banquet on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
You can also print out this form, fill it out, and mail it to:
Balboa Oaks District

For questions, please call (818) 845-0773.
You may nominate any registered Scouter in the appropriate position for the calendar year of 2009. The nominee should have been registered in the nominated position for at least 6 months.
You must include written reasons why you are nominating that person for that award. You must be specific as to the qualifications, not just that they are a nice person or a good leader. Make sure to list what the leader has done in past years too.
You must include your name, address and telephone number. You may be contacted.
What makes an Outstanding Leader?
The list below will guide you as to what makes up an Outstanding Leader for your Pack, Troop, Team or Crew. The items listed include some of the activities, program, advancement and community activities your unit should be involved in. A unit led by an Outstanding Leader will be involved in most of them. There are other traits that make an Outstanding Leader that aren't listed. Give us as much information as possible to help us make good choices; be thorough. Remember, a person can only earn an award if nominated. Don't wait for someone else to do it – it may not get done and that deserving volunteer won't be recognized.
